Any updates - Marg?
Mary Jo refreshed our memories from our institute meeting held in September
Wondering if we should give Marian's differentiation book to participants who register
Marg is currently working on the save-the-date flyer which will be ready soon
Marg & Ken met online with StatusFirm yesterday regarding technology needs for Jan 26
Next institute meeting is Oct 12.
hoping to have a proposed timeline from Marian Small

Math SMARTboard Tools Training - 3/consortia
Who is in?
CPPFP - 3 teachers
CARC - 2 teachers
Date did not work for the majority of the areas
will have the above plus 32 teachers from SAPDC virtually
Hoping to be able to offer training again as per what Pat mentioned in an earlier email
Margo suggested that we work to set up a time that works for most and use those trained internally if we can't meet with SMART
Like the idea of building lessons that show how to use the tools
Would like to look at creating screencasts/vodcasts of how to use the tools meaningfully (beyond static lesssons)
Would like to create document that aligns outcomes with suggested tools (including SMART and others) similar to TPACK activity types

Updates - SAPDC/CARC
Mary Jo provided a personal account of being one of the moodle teachers
Discussion around how to continue advertising this opportunity and how to get teachers on the site

Are we any closer to understanding this process?
Feel this is getting better as we get used to the process
Low, low numbers even advertised provincially remain a concern
